Growth Groups are the key way to get connected and be encouraged to grow spiritually here at Shelter Cove. It’s not just another meeting!

When Jesus, in Mark 3:14, selected the 12 “that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,” just what was the method that transformed these men into world changers?  Answer:  It wasn’t a method…it was hanging out and doing life with Jesus.

Growth Groups give you the opportunity to “do life” with a group of about 8 – 16 other church family members that meet together in a home once per week. You can expect a time of fellowship, study and prayer. Some groups even have a time of worship together. There is a leader/host to help to facilitate the group’s time together. Typically, the study is based on the discussion questions provided in the bulletin each week. These questions are related to the sermon given that weekend.
